I'd always had a small, wobbly drying rack for our clothing that wasn't dryer safe and it had always been an annoyance to me. The rods were so close together, I couldn't use all of them because the clothes would drape onto each other and not dry. Also the rods were so thin that there would be a fold mark dried into some of the clothes. I saw the Homestead Store racks at a convention and was impressed with the stability of the rack and the thickness of the rods, but didn't want to pay the high price. Over the winter, our electric bill leapt to $350 a month. I didn't want to hang our clothes outside and have them freeze but I remembered the Homestead Store racks. I bought the largest one and in one month, our electric bill had dropped to $250. Four months later, I am ready to buy a second rack, because a large load didn't quite fit on the rack and I'm still using the rickety rack for the excess. Thanks for a high quality product that saves us money!
